Look closely next time you see your favorite action star
getting clubbed over the head with a wooden chair, thrown
out of a airplane at 30,000 feet or jumping from a moving
train: you might be looking at MATT McCOLM. Having gotten
his first big breaks as a stuntman in the mid 1980s, McColm
(who holds a black belt in Kenpo Karate) has been a double
for Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood and Steven Seagal
as well as having done stunt work on television shows such
as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Cagney & Lacey and
The Fall Guy. His credited acting jobs include appearances
on the TV shows The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., Knight
Rider and Baywatch, though fans may recognize him most readily
from his dual role as the saxophonist Johnny Domino and superhero
NightMan from the late 1990s TV series NightMan.
