Born in Connecticut, JOSEPHINE BYRNES moved to Australia in 1971 and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1989. Her accomplishments include a 1993 Green Room Award for Best Actress in a musical for her stage work in "High Society," as well as a Variety Club Best Actress award in 1991 for her work on Australian television.
